Sports Injury Rehab - Recovery & Performance Support

Sports Injury Specialist: Exercise & Rehabilitation

  • Exercise Physiologists play an important role in helping athletes return to their sport and overcoming sports injuries.

  • Exercise Physiologists provide the missing link that has existed in sports rehabilitation for years. Previously, athletes would get clearance from their doctor or surgeon after doing the initial rehab and a set amount of time (usually 6 weeks) and then go straight back on the field.

  • This lead to injuries reoccurring and athletes missing out on more of the sport they love.

  • Exercise Physiologists provide that critical piece between finishing the initial rehab and getting back onto the field. An athlete must rebuild their strength and fitness to keep up with the demands of their sport, then return to training and then finally return to the field on game day.
